Terms of sale
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These general terms apply to the purchase of courses, webinars and training materials on certexe.com.
1. Seller
CertExe S.r.l., Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 12, 10123 Turin, Italy; VAT number and tax code IT13253100013; Business Register (REA) no. TO 1349895; email hello@certexe.com.
2. Scope
These terms govern the online sale, through our website, of:
- live courses: online training delivered live by our trainers, on the platform stated on the course page;
- recorded webinars: digital content available for download after purchase;
- guides: PDF materials, either free or paid.
Our courses provide general training on requirements and methods and are not tailored to individual companies. They do not constitute consultancy and do not address participants’ own devices. Taking part in a course has no bearing on any certification process with CertExe.
3. Placing an order
To make a purchase, choose a course or webinar, enter the details requested at checkout, accept these terms and confirm your order. The contract is concluded when you receive our order confirmation email. If you are buying on behalf of a company, you can give the names of the participants, if they are not the buyer.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros on each product page. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
5. Payment
You can pay:
- by credit or debit card, through Stripe; your card is charged when you place the order;
- by bank transfer, within 5 working days of your order and in any case before the course starts, quoting your order number as the payment reference. Your place is confirmed once we receive payment; orders not paid within this time may be cancelled.
6. Invoices
We issue an electronic invoice based on the details you enter at checkout. Italian companies must provide their VAT number and SDI code or PEC address; private customers in Italy must provide their tax code (codice fiscale). Please check your details carefully, as invoices cannot be amended once issued.
7. Delivery
- Live courses: you will receive the joining link by email a few days before the course. Afterwards, we will email you the course materials and a certificate of attendance, as provided for each course.
- Webinars and paid guides: the download link appears immediately on the order confirmation page and in your confirmation email.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
If you are buying as a consumer, that is, as an individual acting for purposes outside your trade or profession, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason, by writing to hello@certexe.com. We will refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method you used.
- Live courses: if the course starts within the 14-day period and you have asked to attend, withdrawing after the start means paying for the part already delivered; once the course has ended, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
- Webinars and downloadable content: by completing your purchase, you expressly agree that the content will be made available immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download begins (Article 59(o) of the Italian Consumer Code).
The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by businesses or professionals with a VAT number.
9. Cancellations and substitutions (live courses)
- If you cancel by email at least 5 days before the course starts, you are entitled to a full refund or a free transfer to a later session.
- If you cancel after this deadline or do not attend, no refund is due; we will transfer you to a later session where possible.
- You may send a colleague in your place at no extra cost, provided you let us know before the course starts.
10. Cancellation or postponement by CertExe
We may postpone or cancel a course, for example if the minimum number of participants is not reached or a trainer becomes unavailable; in that case, we will let you know as soon as possible. You may then choose between the new date and a full refund. No further compensation is due.
11. Materials and intellectual property
Slides, recordings, guides and all other materials are the property of CertExe or of the trainers and are provided for participants’ personal use only. Recording live courses, or copying, distributing or reselling any materials without our written permission, is not permitted.
12. Liability
Our training content is general and for information purposes only. CertExe is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its courses or materials, nor for interruptions caused by a participant’s own internet connection.
13. Personal data
We process personal data as described in the privacy notice published on our website.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence have jurisdiction; in all other cases, the courts of Turin have exclusive jurisdiction.
